About the role

The Sindh Institute of Physical & Rehabilitation (SIPM&R) invites applications for an Assistant Professor in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. The role combines teaching, clinical supervision and research to uphold high standards of patient care and academic excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lectures, tutorials and clinical teaching sessions for medical students and trainees.
• Assess, diagnose and manage patients within the Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation specialty.
• Engage in departmental research and scholarly activities.
• Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate projects, theses and dissertations.
• Contribute to curriculum development and departmental administration.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to design and implement rehabilitation programs.

Required profile

• MBBS degree recognized by the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PM&DC).
• MS or M.Phil in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation or an equivalent qualification.
• Relevant teaching and/or clinical experience in a recognized institution (preferred).
• Strong communication, research and leadership abilities.
