About the role
The Sindh Institute of Physical & Rehabilitation (SIPM&R) invites applications for an Assistant Professor in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. The role combines teaching, clinical supervision and research to uphold high standards of patient care and academic excellence.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver lectures, tutorials and clinical teaching sessions for medical students and trainees.
- Assess, diagnose and manage patients within the Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation specialty.
- Engage in departmental research and scholarly activities.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate projects, theses and dissertations.
- Contribute to curriculum development and departmental administration.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to design and implement rehabilitation programs.
Required profile
- MBBS degree recognized by the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PM&DC).
- MS or M.Phil in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation or an equivalent qualification.
- Relevant teaching and/or clinical experience in a recognized institution (preferred).
- Strong communication, research and leadership abilities.
