Audit & Tax Manager – UAE Client Portfolio

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Audit & Tax Manager to join our Lahore office and support a growing portfolio of UAE‑based clients. The role involves leading audit and assurance engagements, providing tax planning and compliance services, and mentoring a team of professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee external audit and assurance engagements for UAE clients.
• Review financial statements to ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Lead tax planning, tax compliance, and advisory assignments.
• Review VAT returns and other tax‑related documentation.
• Coordinate with clients, regulatory authorities, and internal stakeholders.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop audit and tax team members.
• Identify business risks and provide practical recommendations to clients.
• Ensure timely delivery of high‑quality services and maintain strong client relationships.

Required profile

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) from ICAP.
• 5–8+ years of experience in audit and taxation services.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, audit methodologies, and UAE tax regulations, including VAT and Corporate Tax.
• Proven experience managing teams and client engagements independently.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership abilities.
• Proficiency with accounting and audit software.
