Backend Software Developer (Lahore)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Backend Software Developer to design, build and maintain high‑performance, secure backend services for our enterprise platform. The role is based in Lahore and requires immediate availability to join a cross‑functional team delivering end‑to‑end solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable backend services, APIs and system integrations.
• Develop and maintain secure, high‑performance backend applications using SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers and architects to deliver complete solutions.
• Integrate backend services with external platforms such as customs and logistics systems.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for reliable deployments.
• Stay current with emerging backend technologies and best practices.

Required profile

• 6–8 years of professional backend development experience.
• Strong expertise in system architecture, data modeling and database design.
• Hands‑on experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL and backend integrations.
• Experience with messaging and event‑driven systems (Pub/Sub).
• Familiarity with API management platforms such as Apigee.
• Proficiency with cloud platforms like Google Cloud Platform or Microsoft Azure.
• Solid understanding of security, scalability, performance optimisation and CI/CD practices.
