Barista

About the role

The Barista role at Al-Ghani is a full‑time, on‑site position in Lahore, focused on preparing and serving coffee, espresso‑based drinks, teas and refreshments while delivering friendly, efficient service.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, espresso‑based beverages, teas and other refreshments according to established recipes and quality standards.
• Greet guests, take orders, process payments and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, including equipment, counters and seating spaces.
• Assist with basic food preparation for accompanying snacks, restock supplies and support smooth daily operations.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑facing skills with effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, work in a fast‑paced environment, manage multiple tasks and work flexible shifts, including weekends and evenings.

Required skills

• Barista skills: coffee preparation, drink customization and basic equipment handling.
• Food preparation skills with attention to hygiene, safety standards and presentation.
• Basic numeracy and point‑of‑sale (POS) handling for order entry and payment processing.
