BPO Operation Executive - Medical Billing

About the role

Deline Media is a BPO provider in Lahore with an offshore office in New York, offering customer service and operational support to US clients. It is hiring a Medical Billing Team member to handle patient and insurance billing, appeals and claim processing.

Key responsibilities

• Collect on delinquent accounts and work aging receivables for patient and insurance balances
• Resubmit charges with supporting documentation for medical necessity or take corrective action
• Appeal outstanding denials from insurance carriers and follow up on unpaid accounts via aging reports
• Retrieve explanations of benefits from payer portals to reconcile deposits and post payments
• Communicate denial trends proactively and coordinate with providers on incomplete information
• Correct, complete and process claims, and enter charges and payments in the electronic health records
• Handle calls, emails, chats and faxes and maintain task protocols and documentation

Required profile

• University/college degree or equivalent diploma
• Previous experience in customer support or documentation (minimum 1 year)
• Age 20-35 years
• Strong communication, writing and active listening skills; attention to detail and pressure handling

Required skills

• Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems and practice
• Computer literacy
• Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time
