Business Analyst – Financial Planning (FMCG)

About the role

The Business Analyst will support the Business Unit Controller in driving financial planning and analysis for Nestlé Waters in Lahore. The role ensures accurate forecasting, cost optimisation and transparent reporting across the FMCG business unit.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Business Unit Controller in implementing and monitoring business planning processes (MBS, DF, RCR, QIR, I2L).
• Coordinate monthly business planning meetings, analyse volume, pricing and product quality impacts on P&L.
• Prepare and execute base DF financials in collaboration with supply chain, sales, technical and HR partners.
• Conduct scenario planning, cost‑optimization analysis and present findings to senior management.
• Drive the Quarterly Investment Review, ensuring pre‑ and post‑analysis aligns with SOPs.
• Lead replacement cost runs, compile action plans and support closure of identified issues.
• Deliver key business deliverables such as ML comments, SPCs, PFME reporting, PEC, brand portfolio tools and impairment cases.

Required profile

• CA, ACCA, ACMA or MBA with a finance major.
• 2‑4 years of FMCG experience in financial planning, analysis, reporting or internal control.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with cross‑functional teams.
