Chief Financial Officer (Hands-On Group Finance)

About the role

A hands-on, commercially sharp Finance Leader is sought to bring financial clarity, discipline and scale across a growing portfolio of companies, subsidiaries, SPVs and projects. This is not a reporting-only CFO role: you will build the systems, controls and financial visibility that let the CEO and Board make faster, better decisions, and play a foundational part in building the Group's next phase of growth. For the right person, this is also an opportunity to join as a Co-Founder.

Key responsibilities

• Build a group-wide finance architecture, reporting system and high-performance finance team
• Control cash, working capital, profitability, budgets, controls, tax, audit and risk
• Scale funding, ERP/automation, project finance, capital allocation and financial strategy
• Own daily cash visibility and a rolling 13-week cash forecast
• Own consolidated P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and management dashboards
• Own company, business-unit and project profitability
• Own banks, debt, facilities and capital structure
• Own ERP, automation and finance transformation
• Own governance, risk, tax and audit controls
• Build and lead the Group Finance team
• Partner with the CEO, Chairman and Board on strategy

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance & Accounts or equivalent; CFA preferred
• 15+ years of relevant experience
• 5+ years in senior finance leadership
• Strong multi-company / Group finance experience
• Proven cash-flow, consolidation, budgeting and controls expertise
• Commercial, analytical and hands-on approach
• High integrity, willing to challenge when necessary
