Chief Financial Officer

About the role

The client, a leading pharmaceutical manufacturer in Pakistan, is seeking a seasoned Chief Financial Officer to lead its finance function from Karachi. The CFO will shape financial strategy, ensure robust controls, and support the company’s growth and export activities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures.
• Oversee financial reporting, audit, taxation, treasury, and compliance functions.
• Lead costing, budgeting, and forecasting processes across the organization.
• Establish and maintain effective financial controls and risk management frameworks.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to drive financial performance and support business decisions.

Required profile

• Professional qualification: ACCA or CMA.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant finance experience, preferably in a manufacturing or pharmaceutical environment.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, audit, taxation, treasury, and regulatory compliance.
• Proven expertise in designing and executing financial strategies, policies, and controls.
• Demonstrated ability to manage costing, budgeting, and forecasting functions.
