Chief Financial Officer

About the role

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a full‑time, on‑site leadership position based in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. Reporting to senior leadership, the CFO will direct all financial operations to support the strategic objectives of the Green Pakistan Initiative.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and analysis, and cash‑flow management.
• Prepare, review, and present financial statements and reports ensuring regulatory and governmental compliance.
• Establish internal controls, risk‑management frameworks, and robust financial systems.
• Collaborate with public and private stakeholders to structure investment projects and optimise funding strategies.
• Build, mentor, and lead the finance team while representing the initiative in discussions with investors, partners, and government bodies.

Required profile

• Advanced degree in Finance or Accounting (e.g., Master’s) and professional certifications such as CA, ACCA, CFA, CPA.
• Proven senior financial leadership experience in large‑scale initiatives, government programs, development finance, or agribusiness.
• Deep knowledge of public‑sector finance, investment structuring, and regulatory compliance in Pakistan or similar environments.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication abilities.
• High integrity, sound judgment, and commitment to transparency and accountability.
