CNC Laser Cutting Machine Designer / Metal CNC Designer

About the role

The company is looking for an experienced CNC Laser Cutting Machine Designer to create and prepare 2D drawings and cutting files for CNC laser and metal machines. The role involves converting client sketches into machine‑ready files and ensuring efficient material usage.

Key responsibilities

• Create and prepare 2D drawings and cutting files for CNC laser cutting and metal CNC machines.
• Convert client drawings, sketches, and specifications into DXF/DWG files.
• Prepare sheet layouts and nesting to reduce material waste.
• Check dimensions, tolerances, and design accuracy before production.
• Coordinate with CNC operators to resolve design or cutting issues.
• Revise and update designs based on production feedback.
• Maintain organized design files and records.

Required profile

• Minimum 4+ years of relevant CNC design or drafting experience.
• Hands‑on experience preparing files for CNC laser cutting/metal CNC machines.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD/CAM software.
• Good understanding of measurements, tolerances, and metal materials.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Willingness to relocate to Talagang.

Required skills

• AutoCAD or equivalent CAD/CAM software.
• Preparation of DXF/DWG files for CNC machines.
• Sheet layout and nesting for material optimization.
