Commercial Contract Support Specialist (AMER Shift) - 9-Month Contract

About the role

The Contract Commercial Support Specialist supports the contract management team by handling daily tasks and giving operational support to the Team Manager and Senior Specialist. The role sits in the S&P Global Energy team, a Fortune 500 company, and involves accurate contract data entry into CPQ, managing global orders and tracking case statuses from deal creation to fulfillment. It works in the AMER shift (10:00 AM - 7:00 PM ET / 7:00 PM - 4:00 AM PK time).

Key responsibilities

• Enter contract data into CPQ deals.
• Manage global orders, including new orders, amendments and renewals, with focus on Global Majors, strategic and large regional customers and complex orders.
• Track case statuses and monitor escalations from Sales, Client Services and other teams, gathering responses to resolve cases quickly.
• Assist Sales with client inquiries on products, billing, account and contract status, cancellations and rebills.
• Attend BPM meetings regularly and report deal and case statuses for key accounts verbally and in writing.
• Ensure full adherence to CPQ procedures and business SLAs, and contribute to improving departmental processes.
• Document activities and case progress in CPQ and provide information for audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related field.
• Proven experience in contract management and order processing.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Ability to work across multiple departments and teams.
• Flexibility to meet critical deadlines, occasional travel and occasional work on regional holidays.

Required skills

• Accurate data entry in CPQ or similar platforms.
• Order management and case tracking and resolution.
• Attention to detail and adherence to procedures and SLAs.
