Content Writer

About the role

Al Midrar Institute, which turns authentic Islamic knowledge into practical applications across faith, identity, counselling, education and modern thought, is looking for a Content Writer in DHA Phase 7, Karachi. This is a full-time, on-site position (Monday to Saturday, 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM) where the writer acts as a thought partner and narrative strategist, turning complex ideas into compelling communication across LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, websites, WhatsApp and marketing campaigns.

Key responsibilities

• Turn high-level concepts, philosophies and ideas into clear, persuasive brand narratives with leadership
• Create thought-leadership posts for LinkedIn, Instagram carousels and 60-second Reel scripts, plus course positioning statements, campaign concepts and landing page copy
• Write WhatsApp broadcast messages, email campaigns and long-form editorial content
• Protect and evolve the brand voice, keeping tone, messaging and positioning consistent across all channels
• Develop audience-centric messaging for verticals such as Islamic Education, Counselling, Corporate Journeys and Welfare
• Research accurately and review content for clarity, consistency and alignment with brand objectives

Required profile

• At least 3 years of experience in brand strategy, copywriting, editorial leadership or content strategy; agency or established brand experience preferred
• Strong command of English, with nuance, rhythm and psychological intent in writing
• Understanding of contemporary Muslim identity and modern communication trends
• O/A-Level background preferred; a degree in Communications, Literature, Marketing or a related field preferred
