About the role

Riphah International University is seeking a Culinary Cook II to support its kitchen team in Lahore. The role focuses on food preparation, cooking, plating, and maintaining strict hygiene standards in a fast‑paced academic catering environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing, cooking, and plating menu items according to established recipes and portion controls.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, equipment, and kitchen areas following SOPs.
• Support senior chefs in daily kitchen operations, food production, and inventory coordination.
• Store and handle food items safely to preserve freshness and prevent contamination.
• Monitor ingredient levels and report inventory needs promptly.
• Operate commercial kitchen equipment safely and assist with routine maintenance.
• Document and follow standard operating procedures and participate in quality management activities.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of experience in a kitchen or food‑service setting.
• Ability to work under senior chefs and thrive in a high‑pressure environment.
• Strong time‑management and quality‑control mindset.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations such as HACCP and GMP.
