Deputy Manager Budgeting & MYT

About the role

KE is looking for a Deputy Manager Budgeting & MYT in Karachi. The role supports annual budget preparation, financial analysis, budget monitoring, post-investment reviews and process improvements, coordinating with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Support the preparation, consolidation and presentation of the annual budget for management and Board approval.
• Coordinate with Strategy, Projects, P&E, S&OP, clusters and others to validate project scope, cost and investment feasibility.
• Align procurement and cash budgets with CWIP requirements.
• Prepare financial workings for deferred revenue, other income, inflows, OPEX allocations and open POs/PRs.
• Prepare BOM-based project budgets, introduce service codes and develop scenario-based BOMs to improve accuracy and optimise project costs.
• Monitor budget versus actual consumption and maintain Mini Pulse reporting on the SIP Portal, supporting automation of budget-consumption reporting.
• Conduct post-investment reviews of loss-reduction projects and prepare PIR analysis within two working days, circulating the report within four working days of validated data.
• Maintain records of budget reallocations, coordinate system updates with the BPR team and close stakeholder actions.
• Prepare management reports, presentations, reconciliations and ad hoc financial analyses, and take part in safety meetings and HSE requirements.

Required profile

• ACCA, CA, ICMA, MBA Accounting & Finance, or BS Accounting & Finance.
• At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in budgeting, financial planning, project analysis or management reporting.
• Utility, infrastructure or project-based experience is an advantage.
