Deputy Manager Compliance

About the role

The Deputy Manager Compliance will oversee revenue assurance and compliance for the distribution business, focusing on Advanced Metering Infrastructure. The role ensures risks, policy deviations, and revenue leakages are identified, investigated and resolved in line with the compliance framework.

Key responsibilities

• Perform detailed analysis of billing and smart meter data to detect non‑compliance, unbilled revenue and process gaps.
• Maintain tracking of identified issues, escalations and resolutions, and report findings to management.
• Coordinate weekly/monthly meetings with IBCs, business strategy, IT, legal and regulatory teams to drive corrective actions.
• Support the development and implementation of system‑based controls and policy updates to mitigate risks.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical/Electronics), Professional Accountant or MBA.
• Minimum 3‑4 years of relevant experience, preferably in audit, compliance or AMI environments.
• Strong financial and business acumen with a good understanding of risk‑based audit approaches.
