Deputy Manager Compliance – Revenue Assurance & AMI

About the role

KE is looking for a Deputy Manager Compliance for its Distribution business, focusing on revenue assurance and compliance of Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI). The role applies the compliance framework on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis to identify, investigate and report risks, policy deviations, regulatory non-compliance, control weaknesses and revenue leakages, resolves errors and discrepancies, and helps build SAP-based controls and governance improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze Smart Meter scalar reads, load profiles and other parameters to find process gaps and revenue leakages, and report findings to management.
• Perform detailed analysis under the Compliance Framework to spot billing non-compliances, capture unbilled revenue and corroborate through sample field visits.
• Escalate critical issues, track open issues with status and resolution dates, and liaise with IBCs, Cluster Heads, Business Strategy, IT, Legal and Regulatory Affairs to recommend control and policy improvements.
• Support billing analysis across the company and help establish or modify system-based controls and policies.
• Hold weekly or monthly meetings with the Team Lead and IBCs/stakeholders, and resolve queries raised by Internal Audit.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical or Electronics), Professional Accountant or MBA.
• Minimum 3-4 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with AMI (HES, MDMS, Smart Meters) is an advantage but not required; audit, compliance and assurance experience is preferable.
• Methodical approach, clear communication, strong stakeholder management and willingness to learn.

Required skills

• Understanding of a risk-based audit approach.
• Strong understanding of SAP-ISU and BI tools, and advanced Excel.
• Power BI dashboards, Power BI services and workspace, Power Automate and other automation tools.
• Ability to create policies and SOPs.
