Deputy Manager, Internal Audit

About the role

We are looking for a seasoned audit professional to join our growing organization as Deputy Manager, Internal Audit. This permanent position will lead the design and execution of audit programs that safeguard our financial, operational, and compliance processes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive audit plans covering financial, operational and compliance risks.
• Conduct risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and design audit procedures.
• Lead and supervise audit engagements, ensuring methodology, timelines and quality standards are met.
• Analyze findings, identify root causes and provide actionable recommendations.
• Prepare clear audit reports for senior management and the Audit Committee.
• Collaborate with business units to promote a strong control environment and continuous improvement.
• Perform special investigations and fraud detection using advanced data analysis techniques.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce or an MBA.
• Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in internal audit, external audit or related risk/compliance functions.
• Proven expertise in internal audit methodologies, risk assessment and financial/operational/compliance auditing.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to lead audit planning, fieldwork and reporting.
