Deputy Manager Procurement

About the role

Mustafa Developers is hiring a Deputy Manager Procurement in Islamabad for a full-time, on-site position. You will lead strategic sourcing and material acquisition for bespoke construction projects, managing end-to-end procurement cycles from structural supplies to imported interior finishes, working closely with project directors, site engineers, design partners and finance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee sourcing for civil, structural, MEP and luxury architectural finishes such as imported marble, bespoke joinery, specialized glazing and premium sanitary fittings.
• Build and maintain a network of verified national and international vendors, subcontractors and artisan fabricators, evaluating them against architectural specifications and sample standards.
• Draft, negotiate and execute purchase orders and vendor contracts with credit terms, delivery SLAs and warranties, and run market cost analyses and value engineering.
• Mitigate commercial and supply chain risks and enforce contractual compliance.
• Work with project managers, site supervisors and consulting architects to turn material take-offs into procurement schedules, coordinate logistics and resolve non-conforming materials.
• Maintain audit-ready procurement records, dashboards and commitment registers, and improve material tracking and stock visibility.
• Refine SOPs for procurement, approvals, vendor scorecards and payment certification.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or Business Administration; professional certifications such as CIPS or CSCP are strongly preferred.
• 4 to 7+ years of progressive procurement experience, with substantial exposure to construction, luxury residential developments or civil contracting.
• Experience of 4+ years in construction, civil or luxury residential procurement.
• Track record of competitive bidding, complex contract negotiations and multi-vendor value engineering.
• Ability to work on-site and manage shifting priorities across several luxury villa projects.
