Director/Head of Nursing – Clinical

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Director/Head of Nursing to lead our clinical nursing teams across inpatient, outpatient, intensive care, and emergency services. The role combines strategic vision with hands‑on operational oversight to ensure the highest standards of patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and direction to nursing teams across IPD, OPD, ICU, and Emergency services.
• Ensure consistent delivery of safe, patient‑focused, and quality‑driven clinical care.
• Design, implement, and regularly update nursing protocols, policies, and clinical procedures.
• Track patient outcomes and initiate quality‑improvement measures to enhance care standards.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and patient‑safety guidelines.
• Lead talent‑management initiatives, including hiring, training, performance evaluation, and succession planning.
• Collaborate with medical, administrative, and support departments to streamline hospital operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN); Master’s degree (MSN or Healthcare Management) preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of clinical nursing experience, with 3–5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Strong understanding of hospital systems, clinical governance, and compliance frameworks.
