Dotnet Developer - Software Architect

About the role

This is a senior Dotnet developer position focused on software architecture and technical leadership. The role covers designing end-to-end architectures for AI solutions, IoT platforms, mobile apps, data platforms and cloud-native systems, and acting as technical lead and solution owner for software development projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design end-to-end architectures and create diagrams, data models, API specifications and cloud infrastructure plans
• Serve as technical lead, estimate effort, guide sprint planning and ensure code quality, security and DevOps best practices
• Oversee AI model governance and system integration, and partner with research teams to turn concepts into architectures
• Support technical sections of grant proposals and prototype new ideas through POCs
• Architect scalable cloud-native and microservices-based systems, including API-first and event-driven designs
• Ensure compliance with security standards such as HIPAA and NIST, and implement secure authentication, authorization and data protection
• Manage and mentor the engineering and architecture team, conduct performance reviews and allocate resources
• Collaborate with clients, government partners, universities and internal teams, and present architectures to non-technical stakeholders
• Document architecture designs and share knowledge with engineering teams

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
• 7+ years of experience in software architecture or senior engineering roles
• Experience leading software development teams
• Preferred: healthcare systems and HIPAA/FDA compliance, R&D or innovation environment experience, and relevant certifications (AWS/Azure Solutions Architect, TOGAF, PMP)
