About the role

The position is responsible for operation and maintenance (O&M) of a wide range of telecom equipment, ensuring network availability and performance for PTCL nodes and corporate customers.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain year‑to‑date wireline network availability and corporate MTTR.
• Manage O&M of switching, MSAGs, power systems (DC, AC, solar), DG sets, air‑conditioning, batteries, rectifiers, GPON, ODN, microwave and DRS services.
• Drive cost efficiencies through CAPEX and OPEX management.
• Conduct testing, release PQAT IDs, process GRN/SANs in SAP and clear invoices via the e‑invoicing portal.
• Lead job assignment, performance sessions and ensure 100% completion of engagement sessions.
• Maintain zero fatal accidents for employees, third‑party staff and vendors.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Telecommunication, Electrical, Electronics or related).
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in telecom access network operations.
• Hands‑on experience with switching, GPON and power equipment technical support.
• Functional knowledge of AC/DC/solar power systems and generator operations.
