Field Security Coordination Officer – Saving Lives Together Liaison

About the role
The Field Security Coordination Officer (FSCO) will serve as the primary UNDSS focal point for the Saving Lives Together (SLT) engagement. Based in Islamabad, Pakistan, the position reports to the Chief Security Adviser and operates within a B‑hardship environment, contributing to the United Nations’ mission of safe and effective programme delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Act as the main UNDSS liaison for Saving Lives Together initiatives.
Required profile
- Willingness to be based in Islamabad, Pakistan, a designated B‑hardship duty station.
- Ability to report to and support the Chief Security Adviser.
Required skills
- Knowledge of the United Nations Security Management System (UNSMS).
- Understanding of security risk management principles.
