Finance & Accounts Manager – Manufacturing

About the role

Mechano Tech Services, a precision engineering and industrial production company, is looking for a compliance‑focused Finance & Accounts Manager to lead factory costing, working capital, and tax compliance. The position is full‑time, on‑site in Karachi, and operates on a morning shift.

Key responsibilities

• Value raw materials, work‑in‑process and finished goods; maintain Bill of Materials and track factory overheads.
• Handle end‑to‑end tax compliance, including FBR IRIS filings, monthly sales tax returns (Annexures A & C) and withholding tax statements.
• Ensure compliance with provincial sales tax authorities for service transactions.
• Prepare monthly P&L statements, balance sheets and cash‑flow forecasts for senior leadership.
• Manage corporate banking relationships, accounts receivable/payable aging and Letter of Credit documentation for imports.
• Oversee ERP usage to guarantee accurate data entry and inventory synchronization.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash‑flow management and variance analysis.

Required profile

• Proven full‑cycle accounting experience with month‑end close, reconciliations and financial statement preparation.
• Strong knowledge of Pakistan taxation (GST/Sales Tax, withholding tax) and FBR IRIS portal filings.
• Experience in budgeting, cash‑flow forecasting and variance analysis within manufacturing or project‑based environments.
• Familiarity with cost accounting and project/job costing for manufacturing or installation projects.
