Finance Associate

About the role

We are looking for a motivated and detail‑oriented Finance Associate to join our growing finance team in Lahore. This entry‑level role is ideal for recent graduates or professionals with up to two years of experience in finance, accounting, or related fields.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with daily financial operations, including processing transactions, maintaining records, and reconciling accounts.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing processes, ensuring accurate and timely entries.
• Prepare and analyse financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash‑flow statements.
• Help with budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable functions, including invoice processing and payment follow‑ups.
• Monitor financial data for accuracy and compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Assist in the preparation of tax returns and other statutory filings.
• Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights for decision‑making.
• Participate in audits and supply required documentation and reports.
• Support implementation of financial systems and process improvements.

Required profile

• Fresh graduate with a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field, or up to two years of relevant experience.
• Basic understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and financial software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with accounting software such as Zero or QuickBooks is a plus.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication abilities.
• Attention to detail and capacity to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast‑paced environment.
• Eagerness to learn and grow within the finance department.
