Finance Manager – Accounting & Reporting

About the role

The Finance Manager will lead Avant Labs’ financial operations in Islamabad, ensuring accurate reporting, regulatory compliance, and effective cash‑flow management. This senior‑level position supports strategic planning, budgeting and drives financial health across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting and finance activities, guaranteeing precision and adherence to regulations.
• Maintain complete bookkeeping using QuickBooks and other accounting software.
• Prepare, review and present monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and reports.
• Manage corporate taxation, including calculations, filings and strategic tax planning.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and nurture relationships with banking institutions.
• Monitor cash flow, produce forecasts and optimise working capital.
• Supervise accounts payable and receivable to improve cash management and credit recovery.
• Support budgeting, cost‑control initiatives and long‑term financial planning.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and internal accounting policies.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and address any findings.
• Identify financial risks, analyse variances and recommend actions to boost profitability and efficiency.

Required profile

• Highly organized, detail‑oriented professional with strong analytical abilities.
• Proven experience in managing full‑cycle accounting functions.
• In‑depth knowledge of IFRS and local tax regulations.
• Excellent communication skills and high integrity in handling confidential information.
