Finance Officer

About the role

We are looking for a highly analytical Finance Officer to lead our financial planning and analysis function. The role will drive budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling and provide strategic insights to senior leadership across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting for all business units.
• Develop and maintain robust financial models and long‑range planning tools.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly management reporting packages with variance analysis and executive‑level insights.
• Partner with department heads to evaluate financial performance and operational KPIs.
• Support strategic initiatives such as pricing analysis, investment planning and cost optimisation.
• Manage and enhance financial systems and reporting tools to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Provide ad‑hoc analysis for executive decision‑making, board presentations and investor reporting.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies and procedures related to financial planning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
• 3+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance or related areas.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial statements.
• Exceptional analytical, problem‑solving and organisational abilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modelling.
• Experience with Power BI, Adaptive Insights, Anaplan or similar FP&A systems.
• Knowledge of GAAP.
