About the role

Zameen.com is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead all financial operations for its construction projects. The role combines strategic financial planning, robust control mechanisms, and compliance oversight to support the company’s growth objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for construction projects.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with local regulations.
• Monitor financial performance, cash flows, and project profitability.
• Conduct variance analysis, cost control, and provide strategic financial insights.
• Present financial reports to senior management and key stakeholders.
• Establish and monitor project budgets, ensuring cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with project managers to track expenses, forecasts, and resource allocation.
• Ensure compliance with taxation, regulatory, and financial reporting requirements.
• Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities.
• Manage working capital, accounts payable/receivable, and treasury functions.
• Develop and enforce financial policies, internal process improvements, and internal controls.

Required profile

• CA / ACCA / CFA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification.
• 12+ years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in a managerial position.
• Strong knowledge of local financial regulations and taxation.
