GPS Practitioner

About the role

GSK is looking for a GPS Practitioner to lead the daily deployment of the GSK Production System (GPS) at a manufacturing site in Pakistan. You will work closely with site leaders, engineers and operators to embed practical continuous improvement practices, with a focus on measurable improvements in safety, quality, service and cost.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day deployment of the GSK Production System and run site improvement activities.
• Translate site strategy into clear improvement priorities using structured strategy deployment.
• Coach and train multidisciplinary teams on practical GPS tools and standard problem-solving methods.
• Run GPS self-assessments, identify maturity gaps and support gap-closure actions.
• Deliver improvements that measurably impact safety, quality, service and cost.
• Share practical examples and best practice with regional GPS colleagues and support roll-out activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, pharmacy, biotechnology, biochemistry, science or a related technical field.
• 1-3 years' experience in a pharmaceutical or FMCG environment (production, engineering, quality or logistics).
• Practical experience delivering continuous improvement initiatives with measurable results.
• Basic Lean or Six Sigma certification (for example Green Belt or equivalent).
• Good English communication skills; local language proficiency is an advantage.

Required skills

• Experience with structured problem-solving methods such as DMAIC.
• Experience with basic data analysis and visualization tools (for example Excel or Power BI).
• Lean management, process improvements, project management and workshop facilitation.
