Grid Manager

About the role

The Grid Manager is responsible for driving sales, revenue and business development across a defined geographic grid. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the role oversees mobile broadband, trade visibility, channel development and cell site utilization.

Key responsibilities

• Grow 3G/4G and handset sales by establishing new smartphone shops and improving existing retailer performance.
• Expand channel activities such as SIM selling, value‑added services, postpaid plans and mobile broadband in high‑potential areas.
• Manage end‑to‑end customer complaint handling, CSI monitoring and overall customer experience at franchise locations.
• Coordinate trade marketing, brand visibility, BTL activities and special events within the grid.
• Identify untapped retail zones, guide BDOs on sales routing and submit regular forecasts for SIMs, scratch cards and recharges.
• Train and supervise staff and retailers, ensure stock availability and enforce SOPs, targets and promotions.
• Maintain POS material at outlets and collaborate with technical teams to optimise network resources and site utilization.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 3‑4 years of relevant sales experience, preferably in telecom.

Required skills

• Sales and business development expertise.
• Knowledge of mobile broadband products and channel management.
