Head of Growth & Strategy Officer

About the role

The Head of Growth & Strategy Officer will lead WPP Media’s overall growth agenda, shaping strategic direction and driving innovation across the agency. Reporting to the CEO, this senior leader will be responsible for delivering organic growth, expanding revenue streams and strengthening the brand’s market position.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve and exceed organic growth targets while diversifying revenue sources.
• Lead strategic planning and execution aligned with long‑term objectives and financial goals.
• Drive marketing effectiveness to produce award‑winning work that sets industry benchmarks.
• Act as steward of the agency’s brand, ensuring cohesive strategies that enhance market perception.
• Maintain an innovation pipeline, delivering a steady flow of groundbreaking ideas for client growth and agency recognition.
• Oversee the development and management of annual Statements of Work (SoW) with clients to align with growth objectives.
• Set organization‑wide benchmarks for client advocacy and guide teams toward exceeding them.

Required profile

• Proven executive experience in growth, strategy or comparable leadership roles within media, marketing or related sectors.
• Demonstrated ability to integrate retention strategies, organic growth initiatives and brand narrative development.
• Strong track record of delivering diversified revenue streams and leading large, cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent strategic thinking with a focus on long‑term business impact.
