Head of TCF Colleges

About the role

The Head of TCF Colleges leads the establishment, operational management and performance of TCF Colleges, in line with TCF's strategic vision of supporting alumni beyond Grade 10. The role oversees the rollout of new colleges, ensures consistent curriculum and operational standards, drives faculty training and development, and leads monitoring, evaluation and continuous improvement of college performance.

Key responsibilities

• Translate TCF's strategy into a phased plan for new colleges, leading readiness assessments, staffing, facilities, operating arrangements and launch coordination, and overseeing post-launch stabilization
• Oversee day-to-day operations so that academic, administrative and operational standards are consistently applied, with clear routines, escalation mechanisms and accountability
• Monitor operational challenges across locations and coordinate their resolution with regional teams and head office
• Oversee curriculum implementation and faculty training, development and support, and promote consistent academic practices
• Set up a regular college performance review using academic, operational and student progression indicators, and turn evaluations and feedback into action plans
• Align college delivery with the broader Alumni Pathways journey and student support frameworks, and feed operational feedback back into program design
• Lead and develop college delivery teams, clarify roles and accountability, and coordinate with regional and head-office stakeholders; lead annual operational planning and contribute to resource prioritization and risk management

Required profile

• Master's degree from a reputable university
• At least 10 years of relevant professional experience, including at least 5 years in a team leadership or management role
• Strong understanding of academic delivery, curriculum implementation, faculty development and student support in a secondary or post-secondary setting
• Experience managing multi-site operations, performance reviews and implementation plans
• Ability to plan and execute new college deployments, including readiness assessments, staffing and launch coordination
• Strong people leadership, coaching, stakeholder engagement and change management capabilities
