Head Retail Product Propositions

About the role

Fulcrum Pvt. Limited is hiring, on behalf of its client in the banking sector, a Head of Retail Product Propositions based onsite in Saddar, Karachi. The role covers retail deposit products and product strategy, with a monthly salary budget of PKR 400,000 to 500,000.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute retail product proposition strategies aligned with the bank's growth, customer acquisition, revenue and profitability goals.
• Manage the full product lifecycle: proposition design, business cases, launches, performance monitoring, enhancements and rationalization.
• Build differentiated propositions for current accounts, savings accounts, term deposits and other retail deposit products.
• Analyze customer behaviour, portfolio performance, acquisition opportunities, cross-selling potential, attrition and product gaps.
• Drive product innovation through competitor benchmarking, market research and new products, features, bundles and campaigns.
• Work with Digital Banking and Technology teams to improve digital account opening, onboarding, servicing and self-service.
• Collaborate with Retail Distribution, Marketing and Customer Experience teams on targeted acquisition campaigns.
• Set up and monitor product performance dashboards and KPIs such as deposits, CASA mix, acquisition, profitability, activation, attrition and campaign effectiveness.
• Ensure product governance and compliance with SBP regulations by coordinating with Compliance, Legal, Risk and Operations.
• Lead product training, sales enablement and branch-level guidance.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree from an HEC-recognized university or institution.
• 12 to 15 years of relevant banking experience.
• Proven experience in product strategy, proposition development and product lifecycle management.
• Experience in digital banking, portfolio analytics and product performance management.

Required skills

• Strong expertise in retail product management and retail deposit products.
• Good knowledge of the Roshan Digital Account (RDA) and SBP regulations.
• Leadership, analytical and stakeholder management skills.
