HPLC Analyst – Pharmaceutical & Nutraceutical Testing

About the role

We are seeking an experienced HPLC Analyst to perform analytical testing for pharmaceutical and nutraceutical clients worldwide. The role focuses on assay, impurity, content uniformity, dissolution and stability testing across various dosage forms.

Key responsibilities

• Run assay, impurity, content uniformity and dissolution tests on HPLC (UV/DAD, RI) using established methods.
• Prepare mobile phases, standards and samples; manage column lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot instrument issues such as pressure drift, baseline noise, tailing, ghost peaks, retention shifts, leaks, and pump or injector faults.
• Execute method verification and transfer for client‑supplied methods.
• Pull stability samples on schedule and deliver timely reports.
• Work within 21 CFR Part 11 compliant software, maintaining proper audit trails.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of continuous hands‑on HPLC experience as the primary daily instrument.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biochemistry or a related field.
• Clear written English for reporting to regulated clients.

Required skills

• Proficiency with HPLC systems (UV/DAD, RI) and system suitability, calibration, standard preparation, and ICH Q2 parameters.
• Experience with chromatography software such as Empower, LabSolutions, OpenLab or equivalents.
• Mobile phase preparation, column management, and instrument troubleshooting.
• Method verification, method transfer, and stability‑indicating testing.
• Familiarity with 21 CFR Part 11 compliant data systems.
