Import Assistant / Officer

About the role

Qadri Group, a fourth-generation family-owned industrial manufacturer with operations in 72 countries, is hiring a full-time, on-site Import Assistant/Officer in Lahore. The role supports and coordinates all import-related activities, working closely with procurement, finance and warehouse teams.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and manage import documentation and coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders and suppliers
• Ensure compliance with international trade and customs regulations
• Monitor shipment status, maintain accurate records and update stakeholders on delivery schedules and delays
• Assist in negotiating freight and logistics terms and verify invoices and related documents
• Support timely clearance of goods and keep accurate reporting

Required profile

• Strong understanding of international trade, import-export procedures and applicable regulations
• Familiarity with customs brokerage, including documentation, tariff classification and clearance requirements
• Effective communication with suppliers, logistics partners, customs authorities and internal teams
• Attention to detail, record-keeping and basic data analysis on shipments and costs
• Ability to work full-time on-site in Lahore and handle multiple shipments under tight deadlines
• Academic background in supply chain, business, commerce or a related field; import/export or logistics experience preferred
• Knowledge of QHSE principles and commitment to ethical, compliant and safe practices

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Word
• Experience with ERP or import management systems is an advantage
