Internal Audit Trainee

About the role

This position offers a hands‑on opportunity to support the internal audit function while developing a solid foundation in finance, accounting and risk management. As an Internal Audit Trainee you will work closely with senior auditors to evaluate processes, identify control weaknesses and suggest practical improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct audit fieldwork across various business units, including procurement, payments, taxation and inventory.
• Assess financial and operational processes for accuracy, efficiency and regulatory compliance.
• Document findings, prepare workpapers and contribute to audit reports.
• Identify control gaps and recommend actionable remediation measures.
• Support senior auditors in planning, testing and follow‑up activities.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with keen attention to detail.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, taxation rules and internal control frameworks.
• Enthusiasm for learning audit methodologies and risk assessment techniques.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
