IT Manager - IT Infrastructure

About the role

An organization is looking for an experienced IT Manager to lead its IT department and oversee the IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks and security systems. The role combines a strong technical background with managerial skills to coordinate and optimise IT operations. It is a full-time, onsite position in Johar Town.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the entire IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks and telecommunications systems.
• Manage and lead a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, coaching and mentorship.
• Develop and implement IT strategies and initiatives aligned with the organization's goals.
• Manage the IT budget so that resources are allocated efficiently and cost-effectively.
• Implement and maintain security measures to protect data, networks and systems, and ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
• Oversee relationships with external vendors and service providers, including contracts and agreements.
• Provide expert-level support and troubleshooting for IT issues.
• Evaluate new technologies and their potential benefits and risks.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Proven experience as an IT Manager or similar role, with a track record of managing IT teams and projects.
• 3 to 5 years of experience required.
• Strong leadership and managerial skills, and excellent communication skills with non-technical stakeholders.

• In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, databases and cybersecurity protocols.
• Solid understanding of budgeting and financial management in an IT context.
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
