IT & Security Engineer / Analyst (Remote, Pakistan)

About the role

This hybrid position blends IT engineering with security operations. You will spend half of your week handling connectivity, routing, switching, and identity administration, and the other half triaging EDR detections, investigating alerts, and managing device compliance. The role is fully remote, based in Pakistan, and works the 7:00 PM‑3:00 AM PKT shift to align with US business hours.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day support across client portfolios, resolving workstation, server, network, and application issues escalated from L1.
• Troubleshoot connectivity, DNS, DHCP, VPN, routing, and switching problems in multi‑site environments.
• Administer Microsoft 365 and Entra ID lifecycle, including provisioning, licensing, group management, MFA enrollment, and Conditional Access policies.
• Manage device enrollment, compliance policies, configuration profiles, and app deployment via Intune and NinjaOne.
• Build and run automation scripts in NinjaOne to standardize client configurations.
• Support vulnerability and patch‑management cycles, track remediation, and contribute to incident write‑ups and client‑facing reports.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in IT engineering, security operations, or a blended role, preferably within an MSP or MSSP.
• Strong networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, subnetting, routing, switching, VLANs, firewall rules, VPN).
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Conditional Access, Intune, and at least one major EDR platform (SentinelOne or CrowdStrike).
• Fluent written and spoken English for client calls and reporting.
• Ability to consistently work the 7:00 PM‑3:00 AM PKT shift with reliable power and internet.
