Junior Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Junior Accountant to support our finance team in Lahore. The successful candidate will work closely with the Senior Accountant, handling day‑to‑day accounting tasks and ensuring accurate financial records.

Key responsibilities

• Process and maintain Accounts Payable, including vendor invoices and purchase orders.
• Maintain the general ledger and perform bank and account reconciliations.
• Prepare and post journal entries and support month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Assist in preparing monthly financial statements and management reports.
• Coordinate with vendors to resolve invoice and payment queries.
• Provide documentation for internal and external audits.
• Collaborate with the Senior Accountant on daily accounting operations and finance‑related tasks.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 1–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a B2B environment.
• Hands‑on experience with QuickBooks Enterprise.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
