Junior Manager Cold Chain

Steps Ahead Private Limited is hiring a Junior Manager Cold Chain in Karachi. The role oversees the transportation, storage and distribution of temperature-sensitive products, ensuring cold chain integrity, compliance with food safety regulations and efficient operations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in managing daily cold chain logistics operations so temperature-sensitive products are delivered efficiently.
• Coordinate with suppliers, logistics partners and onsite teams to maintain cold chain integrity.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards for cold chain management.
• Support planning and implementation of inventory management and distribution strategies.
• Inspect cold storage facilities and equipment routinely to keep operations efficient.
• Help develop and execute cost reduction and process improvement plans.
• Report on cold chain operations to senior management and resolve operational issues as they arise.
• Use temperature tracking systems and data analytics for real-time monitoring.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in cold chain logistics, preferably in FMCG.
• Strong understanding of refrigeration systems and temperature monitoring devices.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
