Junior MIS & Reporting Assistant

About the role

The Junior MIS & Reporting Assistant will support the reporting team by gathering, cleaning, and presenting data from various departmental dashboards. This entry‑level position is ideal for candidates with strong Excel/Google Sheets skills who are detail‑oriented and eager to learn reporting processes.

Key responsibilities

• Collect daily data from team leads and update reports in Google Sheets or Excel.
• Validate and clean data, checking for spelling, formula accuracy, dates, and duplicate entries.
• Maintain dashboards, report folders, and ensure proper versioning of daily, weekly and monthly reports.
• Coordinate with team leads to obtain missing information and flag delays to senior reporting staff.
• Assist in preparing weekly department summaries and monthly closing reports, including basic comparisons and formula checks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or current studies in Business, Commerce, Statistics, IT, Data or related field (fresh graduates welcome).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow reporting formats and deadlines.
• Good written communication skills and professional interaction with multiple departments.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
• Knowledge of basic formulas such as SUM, AVERAGE, COUNT, IF, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP and filters.
• Fast and accurate data‑entry capabilities.
