Logistics Assistant Manager

About the role

Iqbal & Company, an importer and distributor of medical devices and surgical disposables serving Pakistan's healthcare sector since 1983, is looking for an Assistant Manager – Logistics in Islamabad. The role covers supply planning, shipment handling, inventory coordination and distribution to company branches. The position is full-time and on-site.

Key responsibilities

• Review, sort and prioritize orders and plan supplies to ensure timely fulfillment.
• Ensure compliance with product labeling, stamping and documentation requirements.
• Coordinate local supplies, stock availability and timely distribution.
• Receive incoming shipments, verify quantities and documentation, and place them correctly in stores.
• Prepare, pack and dispatch stock and supplies to branches, ensuring proper packing and order accuracy.
• Arrange company vehicles, couriers and other transport for deliveries and shipments.
• Maintain accurate stock records, monitor stock movement and ensure proper storage and organization.
• Maintain inventory and operational records in the ERP system and liaise with internal departments, suppliers, couriers and branch teams.

Required profile

• MBA in Supply Chain Management.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in stores, supply chain, logistics or warehouse operations.
• Strong organizational, coordination, planning and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines and keep accurate records.

Required skills

• Practical experience with ERP systems, especially inventory and supply chain modules.
