Manager Retail Projects

About the role

The Manager Retail Projects is responsible for driving sales, profitability and operational excellence across retail projects and KDW categories. You will lead project execution, manage customer relationships and ensure compliance with company standards and SOPs.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare annual budgets, monitor expenditures and analyse variances to meet sales and profitability targets.
• Drive monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets while maintaining high customer‑service standards.
• Analyse category performance and develop strategies to improve sales, operations and profitability.
• Plan and oversee retail project execution, ensuring timely completion and quality compliance.
• Coordinate with relevant departments for smooth project and category management.
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, retain existing clients and generate new business opportunities.
• Lead, mentor and develop team members, enhancing operational efficiency in SAP, IMOS and related systems.
• Identify high‑potential employees for succession planning and career growth.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, SOPs and monitor project progress, installation timelines and issue resolution.
• Prepare and share regular performance, sales and operational reports with senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Interior Design, Business Administration or a related field.
• 5‑8 years of experience in retail projects, furniture/interior industry or category management.
• Proven ability in retail project management, sales & business development and customer relationship management.
• Strong budgeting, profitability management and people‑development skills.
• Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making capabilities.
