Manager Structured Credit – Special Asset Management (SAM) Division

About the role

The Manager Structured Credit in the Special Asset Management (SAM) Division is responsible for overseeing the restructuring, rescheduling, settlement and renewal of credit facilities. The role involves close interaction with senior management to obtain approvals and ensure the profitability and risk profile of the credit portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare restructuring, rescheduling, settlement and renewal proposals for credit facilities and present them to the Group Head of SAM for review and higher‑level approval.
• Conduct annual renewals of existing relationships to assess account profitability and forecast future earnings.
• Follow up rigorously on overdue principal and markup amounts, driving recovery from defaulters.
• Address customer complaints, inquiries and problems promptly to maintain smooth business transactions.
• Coordinate with Credit Administration (CAD) to complete all documentation formalities for approved cases.
• Prepare and submit Credit Risk Analysis packages for all existing clients to the credit committee within required timelines.
• Negotiate out‑of‑court settlements and restructuring arrangements to recover non‑performing loans and move cases toward declassification.

Required profile

• Proven experience in credit facilities restructuring, renewal and settlement.
• Strong background in loan recovery and handling non‑performing assets.
• Experience preparing credit risk analysis reports for senior committees.
• Ability to resolve customer issues quickly and maintain service quality.
• Familiarity with documentation processes in collaboration with Credit Administration.
