Medical Coder

About the role

The Kabeer Co is building a pool of experienced Medical Coders to support Saudi healthcare clients. The role is fully remote from Pakistan, working during Saudi business hours.

Key responsibilities

• Assign accurate diagnosis and procedure codes from medical records and clinical documentation.
• Raise and follow up on clarification queries with clinicians.
• Run coding accuracy checks and correct errors before claims are submitted.
• Stay updated with coding guidelines and payer rule changes.
• Support insurance claims with well‑documented codes and manage coding backlog to meet turnaround targets.

Required profile

• Based in Pakistan with at least 2 years of hands‑on medical coding experience (outpatient, inpatient or both).
• Strong working knowledge of ICD‑10 and CPT or HCPCS.
• Familiarity with ICD‑10‑AM and ACHI (used in Saudi Arabia) is a strong plus.
• Solid understanding of medical terminology, anatomy and clinical documentation.
• Experience with an EHR or practice‑management system.
• Good written and spoken English, reliable internet, power backup, quiet workspace and own laptop.
