Monitoring & Technical Support Engineer – Security Systems

About the role

We are seeking a Monitoring & Technical Support Engineer to join our security monitoring operations team in Islamabad. The role involves providing hands‑on technical support for alarm and security monitoring hardware, reviewing daily alerts, and collaborating with our development team to resolve software issues.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and troubleshoot alarm/security monitoring equipment at client sites.
• Diagnose basic networking and wiring problems related to installed devices.
• Operate internal monitoring software and dashboard applications to track system performance.
• Review daily monitoring reports and alerts, identify issues, and log them for further action.
• Document and communicate bugs or platform issues to the development team.
• Escalate unresolved technical problems to the appropriate internal team.
• Provide regular activity reports and participate in a rotational on‑call schedule for after‑hours support.

Required profile

• Diploma in Electronics (DAE) or a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or equivalent hands‑on experience.
• 1–2 years of experience in security systems, electronics, IT or technical support.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts such as IP addressing and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Fundamental knowledge of electrical wiring.
• Strong initiative, ability to work independently and quickly learn new tools.
