National Guidance and Counselling Services Director

About the role

The National Guidance and Counselling Services Director leads the GCS function across all campuses in Pakistan, reporting to the Manager of Student Affairs and Global Engagement. This senior position shapes policy, curriculum, training and quality assurance to ensure consistent, high‑quality student support.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the national GCS framework, set campus priorities, service expectations, implementation timelines and reporting requirements.
• Develop, revise and improve guidance programmes, intervention resources and implementation tools based on data‑driven evidence.
• Provide functional directions to school counselling staff, collaborate with school leaders and ensure effective implementation and gap resolution.
• Plan, implement and continuously develop the guidance curriculum for Grades 1‑12, covering personal‑social, academic and vocational guidance.
• Design and deliver national training programmes for counsellors, teachers and school leaders, including induction and safeguarding training.
• Oversee a national quality‑assurance cycle, conduct campus reviews, classroom observations and follow‑up visits.
• Analyse audit and student concern data to identify needs, guide programme improvements and monitor corrective actions.
• Lead the Parent Academy initiative, manage complaints processes and ensure confidentiality, safeguarding and proper record‑keeping.

Required profile

• Minimum eight years of experience in guidance, counselling or related student support services.
• Proven experience managing a team of at least five professionals and delivering national programmes.
• Strong knowledge of curriculum development, policy implementation and quality assurance in an educational setting.
• Ability to travel regularly across Pakistan and coordinate with multiple campuses.
