Part-time Autocad Technician (On-site/Hybrid)

About the role

We are looking for a part‑time Autocad Technician to join our Karachi team. The role is primarily on‑site with the possibility to work from home when needed, supporting our engineering and construction projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and update detailed technical drawings and construction plans using AutoCAD and related CAD tools.
• Interpret survey data, engineering inputs and convert sketches into accurate CAD drawings.
• Coordinate with engineers, surveyors and project leads to clarify requirements and ensure design compliance.
• Maintain organized drawing files, track revisions and support project documentation.
• Assist in the preparation of construction layouts, project plans and related documentation.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in civil, mechanical, electrical engineering, drafting or a related technical field (preferred).
• Experience in an engineering consultancy or construction firm is an advantage.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD (and preferably other CAD software).
• Strong technical drawing skills for engineering projects.
• Familiarity with land surveying concepts and their application in drawings.
• Experience preparing and interpreting construction drawings, layouts and project plans.
