Product Manager - Child Privacy & Safety (PhD Required)

About the role

Pixalate, a provider of fraud detection and privacy compliance for digital advertising, is looking for a Product Manager to lead its child online privacy and safety initiatives across mobile and CTV platforms. The role develops trust and safety features that protect children in digital advertising while complying with global child protection regulations, and calls for deep expertise in child privacy laws and age-appropriate design.

Key responsibilities

• Own the child privacy and safety product roadmap, define requirements for age verification, parental consent and child-safe data handling, and implement privacy-by-design and data minimization
• Partner with Engineering and UX teams to build parental controls and privacy settings
• Ensure compliance with Singapore PDPA, IMDA guidelines, COPPA, GDPR Article 8 and the UK Age Appropriate Design Code
• Run DPIAs and Children's Privacy Impact Assessments, lead incident response for child data issues, manage regulatory audits and maintain child privacy policies
• Champion trust and safety across Product, Engineering, Trust & Safety and Marketing, review launches for compliance, present to executives and work with child advocacy groups
• Track privacy metrics, monitor global trends and conduct age-appropriate user research

Required profile

• 5+ years in product management, with 2+ years focused on trust & safety, privacy, compliance or child safety products
• Deep knowledge of child privacy regulations (COPPA, GDPR Article 8, UK AADC, Singapore PDPA/IMDA)
• Experience conducting privacy impact assessments and managing regulatory compliance projects
• Ability to turn complex legal requirements into practical product features and to collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Engineering and Design teams
• Track record of shipping trust & safety or privacy-first products in regulated environments
• Preferred: background in ad tech, mobile apps or CTV; experience with age verification and parental consent; familiarity with fraud detection, content moderation or cybersecurity; CIPP or equivalent; experience with child advocacy organizations or privacy regulators
