Product Manager - SME Banking

About the role

Mobilink Bank is hiring a Product Manager for its SME banking line, reporting to the Head of SME. The role leads the design, development and management of competitive SME product offerings that drive business growth, improve customer experience and meet risk and regulatory requirements. It is based at the head office in Islamabad.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and continuously refine a portfolio of SME banking products, including loans, working capital, trade and cash solutions, with a focus on digital enablement and customer-centric design.
• Conduct market research to identify customer needs, industry trends and opportunities for digital innovation and competitive differentiation.
• Lead end-to-end product development from concept to launch, incorporating digital journeys, automation and ongoing enhancements.
• Collaborate with Credit, Risk, Compliance and Legal teams to ensure strong risk management and regulatory alignment, and design pricing strategies and financial models.
• Work with IT and Digital teams on product digitalisation, system integration and process automation.
• Partner with Distribution, Branches and Relationship Managers on go-to-market strategies across physical and digital channels, and provide training, tools and digital platforms to sales teams.
• Monitor product performance and KPIs (including digital adoption), gather customer feedback and recommend improvements.
• Coordinate with Treasury, Operations, Technology and Digital teams for seamless, efficient delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in SME product development or commercial banking product roles.
• Professional certifications in banking, product management or risk are preferred.
